Equity & Security in Coach Sessions 課堂公平與安全

1 · The promise 我們的承諾

• Fair time: every candidate gets fair speaking time — the coach's transcript chart records every turn, so balance is measured, not remembered. 每位考生獲公平發言時間，逐回合記錄在案。
• Fair marks: marks follow the public descriptors, marked by candidate letter — the coach does not know your name, your school, or your history beyond belt and scores. 評分依公開描述語，以考生編號進行——教練不知你的姓名或學校。
• Fair treatment: no discrimination on any ground — sex, race, disability, family status, school, accent, ability level, or anything else. Weaker speakers get the same warmth as stronger ones; that is the dojo's whole point. 絕不因性別、種族、殘疾、家庭崗位、學校、口音或能力而有差別對待。

2 · What counts as a violation 何謂違規

• Unfair treatment: lopsided speaking time, dismissive or mocking feedback, marking that ignores the descriptors, favouritism.
• Conduct: insults, humiliation, comments on appearance, contact outside the platform, asking a student for personal details, turning off the recording, using real names deliberately.
• Safety: anything that makes a student feel unsafe or uncomfortable — this category exists precisely so a student never has to decide whether something "counts". If it felt wrong, report it. 任何令學生感到不安的行為——不確定是否「算數」也請提出。
• Security: sharing session links, recordings, transcripts or student information with anyone outside the platform.

3 · How reporting works — for students 學生如何投訴

• On your session page, every session carries "⚖️ Report a concern". Pick a category, describe what happened, send. 於課堂頁面按「⚖️ 投訴」。
• It goes directly to the founder. The coach never sees the report, and the founder is alerted within the hour. 投訴直達創辦人，教練不會看到。
• The investigation uses the session's audio recording — evidence, not memory. You will hear back with what was found and what changes. 調查以課堂錄音為據，並會回覆結果。
• Parents may report on a student's behalf at info@hkodo.com, and may observe any session silently, unannounced.

4 · Security in the room 課堂安全機制

• Random candidate letters every session — real names never enter the recording, the transcript, or the coach's view.
• Every session is audio-recorded and transcribed — audio only, never video — on HKODO's own Zoom account; audio recordings are kept 90 days, access restricted to the founder. No session runs unrecorded — the recording protects the student and the coach.
• Your typed confirmation name is visible to the system and administrators only. Coaches see letter, belt and scores — nothing else.
• Sessions run only on platform links; a coach may never move a student to another channel.

5 · For coaches — what you are agreeing to 教練同意事項

By using the coach console you agree, in addition to your signed Coach Services Agreement and the Safeguarding Policy:

• To deliver every session to the published standard: fair time (the chart proves it), fair marks (the descriptors anchor them), fair warmth (kindness is not optional).
• That recording stays on, letters are used in both directions, and no student is ever contacted outside the platform.
• That reports about sessions are investigated against the recording; you will be heard fully before any conclusion, and treated with the same fairness the students are promised.
• Consequences are real: a confirmed violation draws a strike, suspension, or immediate removal depending on severity; retaliation against a student who reported — in feedback, marks, manner, or anywhere else — ends the engagement immediately, with no second analysis. 違規屬實者按嚴重程度記過、停職或即時除名；對投訴學生施以任何報復即時除名。

6 · The fixed points 不變的原則

• Nothing here limits rights under Hong Kong law, including the Sex Discrimination, Disability Discrimination, Family Status Discrimination and Race Discrimination Ordinances, and the PDPO.
• This page is versioned; students agree via the pre-session confirmation, coaches via the coach console. Material changes are announced before they apply.
