Built by a coach, not a content mill.
HKODO is built by Jason O. Chan — coaching competitive English debate and adjudicating internationally since 2016; that training, applied to the DSE speaking exam.
Every answer is marked across four domains against the same rubric every time, and shown as a percentage the student can watch move. What they receive is a coach's draft: written feedback they can act on, not a grade.

每一段答案均按四個範疇評改，每次採用同一評分準則，並以百分比呈現，讓學生看得見自己的變化。學生收到的是一份教練初稿：可據以改進的書面回饋，而非一個等級。
The paper nothing else marks.
The AI platforms schools already subscribe to mark reading and writing. None of them assess the speaking paper. That is the paper worth 10% of the subject grade, and the one a class of thirty gets least practice in — because until now, practising it meant a teacher listening to thirty students one at a time.

One Form 全級
A whole form, fully equipped. Every student in one year group placed, practising and marked against the same rubric — so the comparison you are making is between students, not between markers. One hundred and twenty seats, a teacher account for every English teacher, and a termly progress pack for every class.

Questions schools ask
What does a seat include?
Placement, the full six-belt curriculum across 30 units, the Portfolio, 200 AI responses per account per day, and 25 rubies per seat per school year — about 100 marked group mock rounds. Every tier, the same seat.
How do our students get set up?
Send us the class email list and we set up every account before day one — each student receives a sign-in email. There are no passwords anywhere: signing in sends a one-time code to the student's school email. Students can equally sign up themselves in two minutes. Either way, your school desk shows exactly who is active, and anyone missing comes back to you as a short, named list — following up is a specific job, not a headcount.
What does a teacher account show?
Their own classes' progress and activity — who is practising, how often, and how the four domain scores are moving. It does not show the contents of a student's reports and it never plays audio. Every staff view of student data is written to an access log.
Can we pay for this from the CITG?
Yes. The grant's ambit covers "annual subscription/renewal fees for licences & software, and other charges for on-line learning resources." Schools have also funded pilots through the Quality Education Fund. We are happy to provide a quotation in whatever format your finance office needs.
Do we need to go to tender?
Under the EDB guidelines for aided schools, purchases above HK$5,000 and up to HK$50,000 require at least two oral quotations and are approved by the Principal. Every HKODO tier sits within that band. Your own finance office is the right authority on how your school applies this.
What if we enrol more students than we have seats?
You get 10% headroom automatically and at no charge — so a One Form licence quietly accommodates 132. Beyond that, additional seats are HK$120 each per year, pro-rated for the terms remaining. Nobody is ever refused a login.
Is our students' audio stored?
No. Practice audio is transcribed in the moment and never stored — only the text feedback is kept. HKODO keeps practice scores and the written report, and a student can read and delete any report themselves under "My past reports." A privacy pack and a data processing agreement come with every tier.
What does the licence not cover?
The school licence covers class practice only — coaching with real coaches, mock exams with a person, and the full member experience are what a student's personal subscription buys. Schools sometimes find that useful to tell parents plainly, so we say it plainly here.
Are you connected to the HKEAA?
No. HKODO is an independent training platform and is not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority.
學校常見問題
一個學生名額包括甚麼？
分級測試、涵蓋三十個單元的完整六帶課程、學習歷程館、每個帳戶每日二百次 AI 回應，以及每個名額每學年二十五顆紅寶石，約相當於一百次評改小組模擬回合。各級方案的每個名額所得相同。
學生如何開始使用？
貴校只需提供班別電郵名單，我們會在開課前為每位學生設定帳戶，並向學生發出登入電郵。全程毋須密碼：每次登入時，系統會向學生的學校電郵發送一次性驗證碼。學生亦可自行登記，約兩分鐘完成。無論採用哪種方式，學校管理台均清楚顯示已啟用的學生；尚未啟用者會以具體名單列出，跟進對象清晰，毋須逐一點算。
教師帳戶可看到甚麼？
只限該老師任教班別的進度與練習情況：誰在練習、練習頻率，以及四個評分範疇的分數走勢。不會顯示學生報告內容，亦不會播放任何錄音。所有教職員查閱學生資料的紀錄，系統均會記入存取日誌。
可否動用資訊科技綜合津貼（CITG）支付？
可以。該津貼的適用範圍涵蓋「軟件及牌照的年度訂閱／續期費用，以及其他網上學習資源費用」。亦有學校透過優質教育基金資助試行計劃。我們樂意按貴校財務部門所需的格式提供報價單。
是否需要招標？
按教育局《資助學校採購程序指引》，逾五千元至五萬元的採購須取得最少兩份口頭報價，並由校長審批。HKODO 各級方案均在此範圍之內。貴校財務部門是有關做法的最終權威。
若登記人數超出名額怎麼辦？
系統自動免費提供百分之十的彈性額度——全級方案因此可容納一百三十二人。超出部分每個名額每年港幣一百二十元，並按餘下學期比例計算。任何學生都不會被拒絕登入。
學生的錄音會被儲存嗎？
不會。練習語音即時轉為文字，從不儲存，只保留文字回饋。HKODO 保留練習分數與書面報告；學生可在「我的過往報告」中自行查閱及刪除任何報告。各級方案均附私隱資料套件及數據處理協議。
學校授權不包括甚麼？
學校授權只涵蓋課堂練習。由真人教練指導、真人模擬口試，以及完整會員體驗，屬學生個人訂閱的範圍。學校有時需要向家長清楚說明這一點，因此我們在此亦說得清楚。
你們與考評局有關係嗎？
沒有。HKODO 為獨立訓練平台，與香港考試及評核局並無隸屬關係，亦未獲其認可。
